All things Christmas!

All things Christmas!

On Tuesday 14th December, we had our Christmas dinner at school. To get us into the spirit we made hats to wear, all the children in the school made a hat and we all looked so festive. We decorated them with bright pens and sequins.

For our dinner we had a yummy roast dinner and a sweet biscuit for dessert. We even had a pianist come in and play some Christmas music for us to enjoy.

To finish off a day full of Christmas we went shopping! We had to think long and hard about the people we wanted to buy presents for...... we found it hard to to by for ourselves as there was so much to choose from.

Harvest

This week, we have been talking and learning about harvest. We started our week off by baking. We made bread using ingredients such as wheat that would have been harvested by farmers. We had lots of fun mixing and kneading the dough!

Autumn Activity Afternoon

Music

In music we have been learning Bamboo Taboo. Bamboo Tamboo originates from the carnival traditions of the Caribbean, and involves hammering carved sticks on the ground to create a rhythm.
