School Uniform

Uniform is worn to develop a sense of pride in being a member of the Oakley Infant School Community.  It is practical and will get heavy use during the school day and term.

The uniform is worn as follows:

• Oakley Infant School sweatshirt or cardigan (dark green with school logo) or plain dark green jumper or cardigan
• Grey trousers, skirt or pinafore dress
• White polo shirt, plain or with the school logo
• Black sensible school shoes, covered toes – no trainers
• Grey or white socks
• Grey / dark green tights

In Summer/warmer weather – children can wear grey shorts or green & white gingham dresses.

• School book bag with school logo (one small personalised keyring)
• Pair of wellington boots to be kept in school (YR)

PE Uniform

• White T-shirt with school logo or plain white
• Dark green cotton PE shorts, not cycling shorts
• A pair of trainers with a velcro fastening
• Dark colour joggers / leggings and a sweatshirt / tracksuit top for outdoor wear

PE kit should be in a named drawstring PE bag, not a rucksack.

ALL UNIFORM SHOULD BE CLEARLY NAMED

SECOND HAND SHOP

There is an excellent second hand shop run by Friends for all logo'd items, all clothes are in good condition and very reasonably priced.  Please contact  nearlynewuniform.oakleyinfants@gmail.com for details.

SKOOLKIT

Items of uniform with the school logo can be purchased from Skoolkit and plain items can be purchased from any shop selling uniform items.
