Here at Oakley Infant School we believe that safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. We expect all staff and volunteers to share that safeguarding responsibility and commitment. It is our duty to create an environment that protects children so that they safe and happy. We work closely with parents, stakeholders and outside agencies to ensure that children are safe. 

Children are taught about keeping safe through the PSHE curriculum, assemblies and it is a thread that runs through the formal curriculum for all children.
