Pupil Premium funding is allocated to schools for children who are known to be eligible for free school meals (FSM) to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. This includes children who have been eligible for FSM in the last 6 years. Schools are able to spend the funding as appropriate. However schools are accountable for how the additional funding is used to support pupils from low income families. We reserve the right to use the funding to support any pupils or groups of pupils the school has identified as socially disadvantaged.
Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.
